দুরবীন নিউজ নির্ভুল সংবাদ পরিবেশনে প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ। তবুও অনিচ্ছাকৃত ভুল হতে পারে। ভুল শনাক্ত হলে আমরা দ্রুত তা সংশোধন করি এবং পাঠককে স্বচ্ছভাবে জানাই।
যা সংশোধন করা হয়
- তথ্যগত ভুল: নাম, পদবি, বয়স, তারিখ, স্থান, সংখ্যা, উদ্ধৃতি বা ঘটনা
- বিভ্রান্তিকর বা ভুল প্রেক্ষাপট
- ভুল ক্যাপশন, ছবি বা ভিডিওর ভুল পরিচয় অথবা ভুল সূত্র
- গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য বাদ পড়া, যা খবর বোঝায় বড় প্রভাব ফেলে
ভুল জানাবেন কীভাবে
corrections@durbinnews.com ঠিকানায় ইমেইল করুন। বিষয়ে লিখুন "Correction Request"। ইমেইলে দিন:
- খবরের লিংক
- কী ভুল এবং কেন
- থাকলে প্রমাণ বা সূত্র: নথি, লিংক বা ডেটা
আমরা কীভাবে যাচাই করি
- সম্পাদকীয় টিম এবং প্রয়োজনে সংশ্লিষ্ট প্রতিবেদক বিষয়টি পর্যালোচনা করেন।
- প্রয়োজনে নথি ও ডেটা আবার যাচাই করা হয় এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট পক্ষের বক্তব্য নেওয়া হয়।
- ভুল নিশ্চিত হলে সংশোধন করা হয়।
সংশোধনী কীভাবে দেখানো হয়
ছোট ভুল: অর্থ বদলায় না এমন বানান বা টাইপের ভুল নোট ছাড়াই ঠিক করা হতে পারে।
বড় তথ্যগত ভুল: খবরে সঠিক তথ্য বসানো হয় এবং খবরের শুরুতে বা শেষে সংশোধনী নোট যোগ করা হয়, যেখানে কী বদলেছে ও কবে, তা উল্লেখ থাকে।
হালনাগাদ, সংশোধনী ও স্পষ্টীকরণ
হালনাগাদ: নতুন তথ্য পাওয়া গেলে বা ঘটনা এগোলে দেওয়া হয়।
সংশোধনী: আগে প্রকাশিত তথ্য ভুল প্রমাণিত হলে দেওয়া হয়।
স্পষ্টীকরণ: মূল তথ্য না বদলে বিভ্রান্তি দূর করতে ভাষা পরিষ্কার করা হলে দেওয়া হয়।
খবর সরানো বা পুনঃপ্রকাশ
বড় ভুল, আইনগত ঝুঁকি বা ক্ষতির আশঙ্কা থাকলে খবর সাময়িকভাবে সরিয়ে নেওয়া হতে পারে এবং যথাযথ হলে সংশোধিত রূপে আবার প্রকাশ করা হতে পারে।

Corrections Policy
Durbin News is committed to accurate reporting, but unintentional errors can happen. When an error is identified, we correct it promptly and tell our readers openly.
What we correct
- Factual errors: names, titles, ages, dates, places, figures, quotations or events
- Misleading or incorrect context
- Wrong captions, misidentified photos or videos, or wrong sources
- Important omissions that materially affect how a story is understood
How to report an error
Email corrections@durbinnews.com with the subject "Correction Request". Please include:
- The link to the story
- What is wrong and why
- Evidence or a source if you have one: documents, links or data
How we review
- The editorial team, and the reporter where needed, reviews the issue.
- Where needed, documents and data are checked again and the parties concerned are asked for comment.
- If the error is confirmed, a correction is made.
How corrections are shown
Minor errors: Spelling or typing mistakes that do not change the meaning may be fixed without a note.
Significant factual errors: The story is updated with the correct information and a correction note is added at the top or bottom, saying what changed and when.
Updates, corrections and clarifications
Update: added when new information becomes available or events move on.
Correction: added when previously published information is found to be wrong.
Clarification: added when wording is made clearer to avoid confusion, without changing the facts.
Removal or republication
In cases of major error, legal risk or potential harm, a story may be temporarily removed and, where appropriate, republished in a corrected form.
